Review of ISH 2011: Pioneering solutions with solar energy
Across a stand measuring 1000 m2, Schüco presented pioneering solutions for energy-efficient building envelopes at ISH 2011, the world’s leading exhibition for energy, air conditioning and renewable energies, in Frankfurt am Main from 15 - 19 March. Clean energy from solar and windows. And green technology to ensure that the earth’s natural resources are used responsibly. This sums up the innovations from Schüco.
The best example of this is a modular, regenerative heating system, which offers maximum flexibility of use. And the new series of control units from Schüco. Tailored to the widest possible range of customer requirements - for existing buildings and newbuilds.

Products
Schüco aluminium system: AWS 90.SI+
Thermal insulation to passive house standard is not just the standard of the future. Many local authorities today have already pledged to implement this standard when constructing new public buildings. Schüco is responding to this demand and is the first provider to offer an aluminium window system with thermal insulation to passive house standard.

Schüco solar energy system: SmartKits
High solar outputs as a "package". The SmartKits are available in three different performance classes as a complete pre-fabricated photovoltaic installation with ready-cut mounting rails for installation at almost any location in Germany. This ensures quick and particularly straightforward installation.
Schüco Jansen steel systems: Anti-finger-trap door
Safety and design perfectly combined. The rounded half profiles minimise the risk of injury at the secondary closing edge. This can prevent crushing and shearing points as per DIN 18650. With maintenance-free, high-performance pivot hinges, the Janisol anti-finger-trap door is particularly suitable for buildings frequently used by the public, e.g. shopping centres, schools or hospitals.
Schüco PVC-U system: Schüco VentoTherm
The energy saving regulations require all newbuilds to have an airtight construction. In order to guarantee the minimum air exchange required for hygiene reasons and to avoid structural damage, the need for ventilation measures must always be tested in future and, if necessary, a suitable ventilation system must be selected.
In Schüco VentoTherm, Schüco has developed a ventilation system that achieves the required exchange of air.
Reference projects
City Gate, Bucharest
The „City Gate” project is located in the north of Bucharest, in Sector 1, the wealthiest sector of the city. Opposite is the verdant landscape of the Romanian exhibition venue, ROMEXPO. The building is built on top of a three-level underground car park with 1042 parking spaces. Above, there are two base levels with foyers and offices, from which the two 18-storey towers ascend. Both towers have their own entrance areas and thus function as independent solitaires.

Schüco Technology Center tests building project in Istanbul
All the elements installed on the Buyaka complex in Istanbul were comprehensively and successfully tested by Schüco at the Technology Center in Bielefeld. The Buyaka complex is one of the largest building projects in Istanbul, consisting of four high-rise towers and a shopping centre.
