2011 Schüco Open - A resounding success
In excess of 20,500 spectators attended both days of the biggest and most star-studded invitational tournament in Germany, in the idyllic surrounds of Hubbelrath Golf Club in Düsseldorf. The eleven Schüco brand ambassadors and specially selected top golfers provided the knowledgeable public with world-class golf of the highest order and a truly unforgettable experience. The handpicked field led by world number three Martin Kaymer ensured great entertainment on both days, giving the best possible advert for golf and the Schüco brand.
We would like to thank everyone, who contributed to this great success and we are looking forward to welcoming you next year, when our motto will once again be "teeing off together on climate protection". Read on for more highlights of the Schüco Open 2011 and Energy3.

Review Schüco Open 2011 - Ian Poulter wins in front of a 20,500 strong crowd
The Schüco Open, Germany´s biggest invitational tournament, began on the Saturday with the Schüco Match Play. Ian Poulter (England), an outstanding match play competitor in recent years, once again demonstrated his skill in Düsseldorf, teaming up with Henrik Stenson (Sweden) to win the Schüco Match Play, beating Team Oceania of Geoff Ogilvy (Australia) and Liang Wenchong (China) by three holes.
In front of the record-breaking 12,500 strong crowd on the final Sunday at the Golf Club Hubbelrath, Düsseldorf, Ian Poulter (England), Ryder Cup winner and many-time tournament champion, took the Schüco Winner´s Cup in a fantastic round of 67 (five under par). He and all the Schüco brand ambassadors contributed to the tremendous atmosphere on the final day of the 2011 Schüco Open.

Schüco Sliding Systems ASS 43
The Schüco Sliding Door ASS 43 is a high quality, insulated sliding system with high flexibility. The outer frame can be combined with different leaf types. The Schüco Sliding Door ASS 43 SC (square cut) allows glazing without glazing beads by means of a butt joint on the leaf frame. In Asia Pacific there is also a non-insulated version of this system aviable.

Sparch - the office of the English architect Will Alsop was commissioned in 2004 with the master design and architecture of Shanghai´s new cruise ship terminal. This 800 metre long waterfront north of the "centre" is a new port for ocean liners.
