A reliable product at a good price.

Profiles made from PVC-U are often the preferred choice for residential buildings, partly because of the value for money they represent and also because of their excellent thermal insulation properties. Due in part to their steel or aluminium reinforcement, PVC-U profiles are extremely resistant to deformation and can be tailored to individual requirements by means of different shapes and colours.

Unlimited variety for the luxury market segment

Aluminium profiles are characterised by an especially wide-ranging choice of design and their extreme durability. Due to their rigidity, they are often used for entrance doors. Likewise for sliding doors, aluminium profiles are often the first choice since they offer both an elegant appearance and easy operation. The high level of security features is another argument in their favour.

Ever since the introduction of thermally broken profiles, the problems frequently found in the past of condensation are no longer an issue. In addition, the choice of possible surface finishes and colours is largest for this type of profile.

Attractive through elegance and extremely good static values

Steel profiles can make your home more elegant. Due to the excellent structural properties, even large units can be constructed with slim profiles.

Profiles made from stainless steel are a particular highlight. With their weather-resistant and polished surface finishes, they endow your home with a special sheen.

Since older homes are often fitted with steel windows, steel is often the first choice for renovation projects.

Not all glass is the same

In addition to standard insulating glass, which uses 2 panes with a gap between the panes, a wide range of additional coatings and inter-pane fillings is available, which provide additional functions for the glass.

e.g. Schüco Therm Ultra special insulation glazing, Schüco Phon noise insulation glass, or Schüco Protect and Schüco Flam security glass. This special glazing is offered by Schüco in different versions. Your Schüco partner will be happy to advise.

Opening and closing with the fitting

In the case of windows, the term "fitting" refers to all moving parts, including the handle, gearbox, locking bar, corner pivot, stay and hinges.

Schüco offers a range of different types that can be broken down into the following points:
Function (e.g. different opening types), Security (e.g. different resistance classes), Design (e.g. visible or concealed hinges), Mechanism (manual or automatic)

With VarioTec, the PVC-U window fitting, and AvanTec a concealed fitting for aluminium windows, Schüco has set new standards in the windows market. The TipTronic fitting is also a world first: an automatically operated (mechatronic) window with locking, the fittings components and drives of which are concealed in the frame.

Fittings can be made of PVC-U, aluminium, steel or stainless steel, depending on the function. Your Schüco specialist partner will be happy to give you more details on the additional benefits of the relevant materials.
