The aluminium window Schüco AWS 90.SI+ combines the advantages of the material aluminium with future-oriented thermal insulation. With a basic depth of only 90mm, the Schüco AWS 90.SI+ win- dow not only fulfils the highest thermal insulation demands, but also meets ambitious design and archi- tectural requirements. Castor oil, a renewable raw material, is used in the polyamide insulating bars of the Schüco window system AWS 90.SI Green. Schü- co is the first supplier to use a significant amount of renewable raw material in the plastic of a mass- producible, approved aluminium window and thus to partially substitute for fossil raw materials. The innovative window system AWS 114, which can be used as a parallel-opening or projected top-hung window, offers the highest thermal insulation in the SI variant. Even large vent dimensions can be seam- lessly integrated in the façade, with vent weights of up to 250kg. While with the thermally insulated insert unit AWS 114 glass thicknesses of 24mm to 44mm can be used, with the extremely thermally insulated AWS 114.SI triple glazing with glass thick- nesses of 28mm to 52mm can be integrated. As all glass façade window (AWS 114 SG und AWS 114 SG.SI) or façade window with standard insulating glass and continuous glazing beads, the insert unit offers a wide range of design possibilities.
