The Schüco ProSol and ProSol TF window and façade modules offer creative design freedom and take on all functional properties of conventional building envelope units. They are easy to process and produce electrical energy. An optimum combination of energy-efficiency and design! The Schüco window and façade module is available with amorphous thin-film technology (ProSol TF) and with crystalline cell technology (ProSol). ProSol and ProSol TF are offered as ventilated and non-venti- lated versions in different sizes, formats, and versions, ranging from variable ventilated versions to variants with triple insulating glass, noise-reduction glass, or safety glass. Due to their multifunctional properties, they can be used in Schüco ventilated and non-ventilat- ed façades, in Schüco windows and doors, as well as in skylights and solar shading applications. Schüco ProSol und Schüco ProSol TF Schüco ProSol and Schüco ProSol TF Schüco Aluminium Fassadensysteme Schüco Aluminium Façade Systems www.schueco.de/prosol www.schueco.de/prosol-en Schüco façade and window modules can be manufac- tured in all sizes between approx. 200mm by 300mm and 2400mm by 5100mm. Corresponding to the crystalline structure of the solar cells, a distinction is made between monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and amorphous cells. While polycrystalline cells set visual accents with a iridescent structure, monocrystalline cells create the effect of an aesthetic unit due to their uniform service. Amorphous cells do not have a visual crystal structure. A very thin layer of silicon is vapo- rised directly onto a glass substrate, thus creating an extremely homogeneous surface. The efficiency grade of monocrystalline cells is currently 15 % to 21 %, that of polycrystalline cells approx. 13 % to 18 %, and that of amorphous cells approx. 6 % to 9 %.
